Servants From All Walks Of Life

Week of January 22, 2021

"Being confident of this very thing, that He who has begun a good work in you will complete it until the day of Jesus Christ." (Philippians 1:6 NKJV)

In every generation, followers of God have proclaimed His truth and done His will.  Some have been highly esteemed, even famous, but others have remained unknown.  All of them loved God in such a way that it inspired and challenged others who observed.

Paul never forgot his meeting with the Lord on the Damascus Road.  I will never forget kneeling beside the couch as a six-year-old boy, inviting Christ into my heart, and then as a seventeen-year-old young man accepting the call to ministry.

The Lord comes to each of us personally and uniquely to meet us where we are.  We do not all have a Damascus Road experience because the Savior prepares a special experience that is suited to our individuality.

As your walk with Jesus deepens and expands into service, you will become aware of a divine plan for your life.  This plan may not be particularly dramatic or impressive by the world's standards, but it will be God's plan for your life.  In accomplishing it, you will experience joy and satisfaction.

God Bless, Pastor Rick
