At Gateway, being a senior is more of a stage than an age. This is the time to kick back and enjoy life with friends and family. We have a very active Senior Adult Ministry geared toward those who are 55+. In addition to Sunday morning Bible Study, Gateway’s Senior Adult Ministry has many activities throughout the year as well as a annual Senior Adult Retreat with the Tryon Evergreen Baptist Association known as TEBA.
Please know anyone from the surrounding area, 55 or older is invited to “OWLS (Older Wiser Livelier Souls) Club Day”. This is the opportunity to fellowship with friends from other churches or communities as we enjoy live entertainment, an educational segment and lunch.
“Club Day” happens on the SECOND Thursday of the month, from 10:30 AM to 12:00 PM in the Fellowship Hall.
