WEEK OF MARCH 29, 2019

“For all the promises of God in Him are Yes, and in Him Amen, to the glory of God through us” (2 Corinthians 1:20, NKJV).

God keeps every promise that He has made to us. When we walk in fellowship with Christ, we have the assurance that every promise God has made and recorded in scripture is available to us. This powerful truth should motivate us to search the scriptures for His promises. When we fully understand the scriptures we unlock the full potential of the Christian life.

The apostle Paul claimed that he had tested each of these promises in his own life and found them all to be true. This alone is why he could boldly speak of the exceeding riches of His grace. “that in the ages to come He might show the exceeding riches of His grace in His kindness toward us in Christ Jesus” (Eph. 2:7 NKJV). Paul had found a wellspring of riches in the promises of God and enjoyed them throughout his entire ministry.

Do not become discouraged or impatient if you are not experiencing the fullest of God’s promises in your life right now. The key is to remember to walk closely and daily with your Lord. In time you will see Him bring His promises to fruition in your life.
