WEEK OF MARCH 15, 2019
“In the ages to come He might show the exceeding riches of His grace in His kindness toward us in Christ Jesus.” (Ephesians 2:7, NKJV)
When we begin to take note of all the evil in the world, and we consider that people are often untrustworthy you become aware of the full extent of God’s love. People ignore Him, they disobey Him, and they forget the manifestations of His grace and they blame Him when things go wrong in their lives. But still, in His love God, the Father, sent His son to die for us so we could be forgiven and have eternal life.
We would not have tolerated that attitude from others and still love them, but that is exactly what God has done. When we realize this, we appreciate our relationship with Jesus Christ even more. We begin to understand better the true meaning of the Christian faith. Christianity is rooted in the great love of God that transcends our understanding and forgives us for all that we have done wrong when repented of.
Acknowledge this acceptance of you as His child. Surrender yourself unconditionally to His Son. Follow Him with all your heart, mind, soul and strength. He is a good God, and His love is infinite.
God Bless, Pastor Rick
