"Set your minds on things above, not on earthly things." Colossians 3:2

Many people believe that to live a truly spiritual life; you need to live in seclusion where life's realities are either ignored or forgotten. Many people make a mistake in thinking that life is divided into two separate parts: the spiritual and secular. When a follower of Christ starts thinking this way, that is when he loses contact with reality. True spirituality is extremely practical. Jesus was a very practical person. For Him, no division existed between the spiritual and the secular. With Him, you could not draw a line between that which He regarded as spiritual and secular. Everything – every thought and deed was an expression of His relationship with His Heavenly Father. True Christians don't divide their life into compartments because all of life must be an expression of the spiritual. The spiritual life touches the realities of everyday life. Therefore allow Him to express Himself through your life, and your Christianity will come alive and be meaningful. You will also find that you become a more balanced and stable person.
