“Pilate said to Him, “What is truth?” And when he had said this, he went out again to the Jews, and said to them, “I find no fault in Him at all.” John 18:38 (NKJV)
We, as Christ’s disciples, can convey some fundamental truths to a world in search of truth.
One is that all people are guilty before God. It is extremely difficult for a man to say, I am a guilty sinner. People try to conceal their sins and shift the blame. That doesn’t change the fact that the wages of sin is death. And that is truth.
The 2nd truth is Jesus Christ came to this world to deliver us from sin. For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. (John 3:16, NKJV). This truth carries a huge price. Jesus hung on the cross to pay for our sins.
The 3rd truth is each person must discover this truth for himself or herself. In response to the work of the Holy Spirit working in our hearts, we turn to God in sincere repentance for our sins. The good news is that this is a day of grace, and there is still time to discover this truth. The Lord is compassionate and slow to anger. I can embrace Him as my Savior,
John 1:12 says, But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, to those who believe in His name.
If you never have, the Bible also says Today is the day of Salvation. Embrace Him right there at this very moment, and you will become a child of the Most High God.
God Bless, Pastor Rick
