Week of May 6, 2022

Daniel once asked this question, “Although I heard, I did not understand. Then I said, My Lord, what shall be the end of these things.” Daniel 12:8 (NKJV).

People often find it difficult to understand God’s purpose for their particular lives. They can be confused by the circumstances of life and why they have happened. Consequently, what they expected of the future fades, and their faith wavers.

A strong faith depends on our ability to trust God completely no matter what happens. The test of our faith happens when things turn against us, and we are tempted to question God. We end up seeing no purpose for our terrible situation. But when you study the life of Jesus Christ, you will discover His unshakeable trust in His Father. Even in the darkest moments, His faith was always strong enough to empower Him to fulfill the will of His Father.

As you walk with God and draw your strength from Him, you will develop the ability to trust Him in all circumstances. The grace of God will enable you to deal with every situation in life. Always remember that God cares for you, and He will work everything together for your good.
