Creative thinking usually begins when you’re in a crisis. Think about the Red Sea, the Battle of Jericho and David verses Goliath. Israel’s most spectacular victories came about when they were in seemingly impossible situations. God said in Psalm 46:10, “Be still, and know that I am God…” God will give you creative ideas that will enable you to make it through your seemingly most impossible situations. That will mean though that you will be still in His presence and listen to Him. In an age of busy schedules, that is not always easy. Creative thinking also involves doing. You must move forward with your thoughts. What I have discovered in my life and the life of Gateway is summarized in the following statement. On our way to the best solution, you will entertain some not so good ideas. You must be willing to step out in faith and try new things in order to find out what works best for you. Be still before God, act on your ideas, and believe God to bring you through your seemingly impossible situations. I believe you will experience a way through your particular condition and your testimony will truly pronounce that all things are possible with God.
